Privacy Policy

Leaniroo helps you log meals, build recipes and track training, mostly through AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google profile name and picture.
• What you save: meals, recipes, foods you create, workouts, body metrics such as weight, body-fat percentage and waist, neck and hip measurements, calorie and protein targets, timezone and unit preferences. Your timezone starts as your device's when you sign up, so daily totals reset at your midnight.
• An optional nutrition profile, only if you choose to share it: height, sex (or "prefer not to say"), birth year, how active your day is and how often you train.
• Estimates we calculate from what you share: maintenance calories, estimated body fat and your weight trend. When an assistant saves a plan for you, we keep its goal, the numbers, and the short reason it gave. If you share photos with Claude or ChatGPT for a body-fat estimate, Leaniroo receives only the estimated percentage, never the photos.
• Connection records: the apps you connect (for example Claude), the permissions you granted, and sign-in session details such as IP address and browser type.
• Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, your email address, when you joined, and the page or link that brought you there. You don't need an account to join.

Body metrics and eating records can be sensitive. We collect them only because you enter them, and we use them only to provide Leaniroo to you. Leaniroo is not a medical service and does not give medical advice.

How we use it

• To run your account and the features you use, including answering requests from assistants you connect.
• To estimate calorie needs and check whether your plan is on track. Connected assistants may receive short check-in reminders, such as an overdue weigh-in, which you can turn off.
• To send account email such as verification and password-reset messages.
• To email waitlist members about the Leaniroo launch. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it for others' marketing.

Who can see it

• Assistants you connect: when you ask Claude, ChatGPT or another app to use Leaniroo, the data it reads or writes passes to that app and is handled under its own privacy terms. You can disconnect an app at any time from that app's settings.
• Other Leaniroo users: foods you create join the shared food catalog and are visible to everyone, without your name. Recipes are private unless you make them public or share them with a specific person. Meal logs, workouts, body metrics, targets and your nutrition profile are always private.
• Service providers that run Leaniroo for us: Hetzner (servers in the United States), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (domain names and forwarding email you send us) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your account details and private records. Foods you added to the shared catalog may remain without any link to you. We keep waitlist emails until 12 months after launch, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your choices

• Edit or delete your records at any time through Leaniroo or a connected assistant.
• Skip any profile question, decline the targets setup, turn off check-in reminders, or ask your assistant to delete your nutrition profile.
• Disconnect an assistant from its own connector settings.
• Leave the waitlist with the unsubscribe link in any launch email, or by emailing us.
• Ask for a copy of your data or deletion of your account by emailing hello@leaniroo.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Leaniroo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be emailed to you.
